North Shore Water Reclamation District was recognized by North Shore Gas

for its efforts at the Zion BioRecycling Facility to reduce Natural Gas consumption

by recapturing and recycling heat back into its sludge drying process. 

The energy savings equals the amount of energy to run 65 households for a year!

The NorthShore Gas team who worked with our Operations and Engineering Departments

presented a check for over $225,000 at the August Board Meeting.
