Request a Tour
The public is invited to tour the District’s three WRFs and laboratory. Tours are scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and last approximately 1-2 hours, depending on the facility. For safety reasons, tour participants must be at least 10 years of age or in 5th grade. To schedule a tour, complete and submit the Tour Application Form. Please note that the listed tour guidelines must be strictly followed. The District reserves the right to cancel tours at any time or limit the number of participants per tour.
Tour Guidelines
Please remember that District facilities contain hazards inherent to industrial sites. In accordance, tour participants are required to follow the tour guidelines listed below.
- Please limit size of group to 15-20 participants
- All tour participants be at least 10 years old or in 5th grade
- Stay with and strictly follow the directions of tour guide at all times
- No running or horseplay
- Wear proper clothing (no shorts, skirts, tank tops, heels, sandals, or other open toed shoes)
- Do not touch equipment, push buttons, or go beyond any type of barriers (cones, warning tape, etc.)
- Never lean, sit, or climb on rails or covers of tanks
- No food or drink
Failure to follow the tour guidelines will result in the tour immediately ending.
